How to Give by Contactless Card or Smartphone or Smartwatch?
You can donate using your debit/credit card or smartphone or smartwatch at our services using a CollecTin terminal. Normally it’s a simple process of choosing the amount and tapping your card/smartphone.
The Government allows the church to claim Gift Aid on contactless card donations up to £30. So, a donation of £30 will be worth £37.50 to the church even if you are not a taxpayer.
The church is charged 1.1% for processing debit card transactions and 1.3% for processing credit card transactions via the terminal.
