Laleham C of E School

We are pleased to have strong links with Laleham Church of England Primary School.

Many of the children and their families are involved in the life of the church, from attending Sunday services which are held in the School hall, and of course our ever popular annual summer Holiday Club.

London Diocesan Report

Laleham School was recently awarded an “Outstanding” following the official London Diocesan Inspection. The full report can be read here: The inspector was especially pleased with the coherence between the church and the school.

Two Church members are Governors at the school – Jennie Curtis (Church Foundation Governor), and Alexandra Wren (Church Foundation Governor). The Vicar is an ex officio Governor.

School admissions

The school Admissions Policy is decided by the Governing Body of the school. The latest policy can be found, along with a map of the parish, on the school’s website.  In the case of oversubscription the governors list criteria on the basis of which they will offer places.

In the Policy for admissions in 2019, criteria 4 and 5 are:

4) Children whose parents are involved in the work and worship* of All Saints’ Church, Laleham and live within the parish boundary.

5) Children whose parents are involved in the work and worship* of All Saints’ Church, Laleham but live outside the parish boundary.
* by work and worship we mean attendance at church at least twice monthly for a minimum period of 12 months immediately prior to the date of the application.

Admission forms

To register your attendance for a Church School Supplementary Form, please see a member of the team after a service or contact the Church Office. Any supplementary admissions forms to be signed by the Vicar, on the basis of these criteria, need to be sent to the Church Office. They can usually be collected from the office a week later, or please provide a stamped addressed envelope.
