London Diocesan Report
Laleham School was recently awarded an “Outstanding” following the official London Diocesan Inspection. The full report can be read here: www.schools.london.anglican.org. The inspector was especially pleased with the coherence between the church and the school.
Two Church members are Governors at the school – Andrea Stevens (Church Foundation Governor), and Michael Parker (Church Foundation Governor ). The Vicar is an ex officio Governor.
The school Admissions Policy is decided by the Governing Body of the school. The latest policy can be found, along with a map of the parish, on the school’s website In the case of oversubscription the governors list criteria on the basis of which they will offer places.
In the Policy for admissions in 2017, criteria 4 and 5 are:
5) Children whose parents are involved in the work and worship* of All Saints’ Church, Laleham but live outside the parish boundary.
* by work and worship we mean attendance at church at least twice monthly for a minimum period of 12 months.
Any admissions forms to be signed by the Vicar on the basis of these criteria are sent to the Church Office. They can usually be collected from the Office a week later, or please provide a stamped addressed envelope.
